About 20% of work we do is not related to
training, but rather is web site and web application development. We do this
intentionally for a number of reasons.
First, the use of Internet technologies and creative design is generally more
advanced in web site and web application development than in the training world. Doing
this work keeps us sharp – on the cutting edge - and able to apply this
knowledge to our training projects when appropriate.
Also, variety is a good thing. Our web work adds a change of pace and spice to
the mix.
In reality, developing web sites and developing trainings are more related
than you might think, and you have to address many of the same
questions and issues: Who is the viewer? What do we need to communicate? What is
the best way to deliver the message? Budget, project management, quality control
issues are all similar.
Web applications – and by this we mean more complex and specialized
functionality - require software development, again stretching our engineering
and project management chops and keeping us current.
We continue to develop outstanding websites and web
applications; we are good at it and enjoy these projects. Our
understanding of the rigorous process of developing trainings also makes us
better web developers. We would be pleased to introduce you to our web
development clients – who are pleased and proud of the work we have done for
them.
