| The principle of form-follows-function holds true at
Sweetrush. When building an on-line training or a web based application, we
first specify whatever functionality is best suited to each project. We know our engineering
department will be able to turn our creative ideas into reality.
As much as we already know, just about every day we face complexities we have
not dealt with before. Finding creative technological solutions to solve these
problems is our job – and doing so keeps us engaged.
We record and edit audio, shoot and integrate video. For video we created software to automatically
detect the bandwidth available to a specific learner, and optimize download
speeds accordingly. We build interactive games with object-oriented code. We are adept at
making sure our trainings are SCORM compliant and can fine tune for
idiosyncratic systems and LMS integration. We can build complex back-end database systems, and the
list goes on and on.
To support our production efficiencies we have
built proprietary applications such as our Content Management System (CMS), which
is at the heart of much of the work we do. For logging our time in support
of project management, we utilize another proprietary tool: SweetRush
TimeTracker.
Our training clients appreciate we can build applications in support of
training when necessary, and that we can handle myriad complexities that
increasingly arise as ‘state of the art’ eLearning matures.
Training, fortunately, is moving beyond the 'page turner' as new technologies
become more cost-effective. However, new and interesting technical challenges
are emerging. We are already helping our clients overcome these
challenges.
We do not expect our clients to be technology experts – again, that is our
job. We would be happy to refer you to clients who will substantiate our expertise
and can-do attitude in this area.
